Christmas is a just a week away! How is everyone with your Christmas shopping? Are you early or last minute shoppers? Husband and I tend to do our Christmas shopping last minute.
One year, we were moving interstate during Christmas itself and had no time to do any shopping whatsoever. We then brilliantly (and perhaps, some will say cruelly lol) told young little Ally that Christmas was the next day (26th dec). It worked just fine as we had no friends, no school mates for Ally, no social interaction, no neighbours to foil the plot etc and she was too young to know what was what anyway. Such sneaky parents!
Anyway, Christmas stories aside, this is my final coverage for Christmas gift sets! Such a big fan of Burt’s Bees am I, that I always have at least 4 Burt’s Bees lip balms lying around the house at any one time. Burt’s Bees have released a whole bunch of very awesome Christmas sets of great value.
Here are some of them that I am attracted to. *Hint Hint Husband* I love the adorable names of these sets and they come in beautiful packaging specially designed by renowned Melbourne-based designer Geneine Honey.
Bee Kissed $14.95
It’s A Cracker $29.95
Honey Holiday $24.95
Bee Good $29.95
I was sent the Bee Good set to review and I absolutely love it!
The Cocoa & Cupuaçu Butter Body Lotion smells absolutely yummy! Combining the aroma of Cocoa butter and vanilla, this body lotion is proven to moisturise for up to 24 hours. Very importantly, it is quick absorbing and non-greasy.
This hand cream has such a thick, creamy texture that it certainly reminds of butter. Despite its thick consistency, it spreads easily and is just so nourishing and rich that my hands definitely felt the difference immediately. I have to say it is one of the most effective hand creams I have ever used and I am saying that as someone who has eczema (very rough, sensitive, wrinkled skin on hands). It is effective yet very gentle and full of natural goodness at the same time.
This is the 3rd Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme that I own. I love anything that smells citrus-y and the beautiful lemon scent definitely scores points with me. This creme helps to moisturise nails and cuticles and does so very effectively as well. I also love that it is non-greasy once again and comes in a very thin, soft texture.
I’m really not sure if I have to say much about Burt’s Bees Lip Balms. I just love them! They are gentle, nourishing and I really love how they smell. This Mango one smells yummy. It is 100% natural and formulated with Mango butter. It very effectively soothes, protects and hydrates. As I have mentioned, I always have a few lying around the house at any point of time. That is how much I adore them!
As you can see, these sets are very affordable at the $20+ mark and have such great value. I think they certainly make a great gift idea and furthermore, Burt’s Bees is such a wonderful natural brand that I am a huge fan of and hence, more than happy to gift a friend with. Also, these are full sized items and not mini sized items. Top marks! There are other gift sets you can browse through and consider at their website www.burtsbees.com.au I think I will take advantage of these Christmas packs and buy the other ones too!
*The Burt’s Bees Bee Good Set was provided for review purposes. My opinion is genuine and uninfluenced nonetheless.
oooh neat! i’ve been meaning to check out more of Burt’s Bees products. i own a number of their lip products but have been very curious about the “very” volumizing shampoo and conditioner.
Hi Helen! Hmm I havent tried their shampoo & conditioner but I have tried lots of other products such as their deep cleanser, hand creams, body lotions, lip balms etc and I’m such a big fan! I dont think I have tried anything I didnt like so far from Burt’s Bees 🙂

I am such a big fan of Burts Bees! You are right; such affordability for such great quality natural products. Haha it will be a nice story to tell when she grows up in future 🙂
Ooh. They have a foot cream with coconut in it too? Is it coconut oil? Can you do a review on that some time cos i hear that coconut oil is the upcoming ingredient to look out for.
I love the lip balm too – without SPF though – cos it healed my lips almost immediately when was cracking and peeling.
I really like Burt’s Bees, too! My husband actually introduced me to them, because they are one of the few brands that makes lip balms without petroleum in them–petroleum-based health and beauty products are known as carcinogenics to the point where my husband’s hospital has banned their use within the hospital! Natural is the way to go!
