Insta-Worthy Woolies

(Last Updated On: November 1, 2016)

Spring is finally here but there are days where it’s still bloody freezing out there. Sometimes, I rug up and to occupy my time, I peruse Instagram and occasionally find some exceptional warm fashionable items for babies, toddlers and kids.

The “Little Bear” merino jumper from Le Edit is high quality and on trend for kids fashion. 100% Merino wool means it’s extremely warm, but still breathable. The two pompom ears on the hood, when drawn up, instantly turn my son into a teddy bear, which we both find hilarious. Stylish, luxurious but above all fun, I’m loving this purchase!

The Artist pants, also by Le Edit, are 100% organic cotton and very soft and comfy. I only wish my active wear was made of the same material. Le Edit’s signature print for the season in grey with black spots is a perfect match for the “Little Bear” jumper.

The trend continues, white sneakers are a must-have item for both adults and kids. For toddlers, the key is to get good quality leather shoes that can be easily cleaned. I chose the Scholar Pu Double Velcro Sneaker by Polo Ralph Lauren and applied a light scotch guard to them before they were worn. Now it only takes a baby wipe to bring them back to a brand new clean while! My son is a big fan, the Velcro make the shoe very easy for him to put them on!

Finally socks, a cold weather essential, and none more so than knee-high socks with little bears on them! My son doesn’t do socks, he loathes them, but put a cute bear face on them and he squeals with delight as he makes them hop and dance. We found these from Little Pop Studios.

Great to see a shift away from Black in the cold seasons.

Keep warm and rug up little ones!
