Recently, I was fortunate enough to discover Mineralogie, a cosmetic brand that I wasn’t previously familiar with.
I cannot emphasize how lovely it was when the wonderful Jayde asked me what I like. When I told her I’m a serial eyeshadow addict/collector, she was kind enough to spoil me with these additional Mineralogie eyeshadow products.

Quad Pressed Eye Shadow Compact
There are 3 Mineralogie quads available and this is the Champagne Quad.
Fusion is a light beige colour with a satin finish. Mango is the most gorgeous peachy pink. Champagne appears as a light toffee brown but applies as a darker beige. Mulberry is my favourite; it is a mauve shade with plum undertones. What a beautiful selection of mattes! Love it!
I am so delighted with this quad because I mostly have smoky eye quads but this quad is a really unique and very usable one. It can be used to create a clean, light day look or a darker sophisticated smoky eye look. I adore this quad and have been using it daily. I am really impressed with their quality too; fall out is minimal if any and neither have I noticed any significant creasing. They are easy to work with and have no problems staying put all day.
Matte Eye Shadow in Mink
I love my matte eye shadows and was simply delighted with the choice of shade I received (thanks again, Jayde!). Mink is a simple, classy shade of dark brown. On a rushed morning, I just use it as an all-over colour and works really well. As I have mentioned in my previous review, I really like the simple yet practical design of these pots. They are not messy like other ones I have encountered and allow me to tap out the exact amount I need. The pigments are finely milled enough to blend well yet not too finely milled that more goes poof in the air than on your lid!
Shimmer Eye Shadow in Antique Copper Shimmer
This eyeshadow is made up of specks of sparkle particles that are considerably big. When I first tapped some out, the specks of sparkle all laid out separately. I was curious about how they would blend but I didn’t have to worry as they blended really well.
The shade is a really reddish rusty shade of copper and is extremely pigmented. The shimmer is beautiful and I really like the overall effect although I did worry that it looked a bit too orange for my skin tone. The staying power is awesome; it does not go anywhere and I mean it seriously does not stray at all.
Anybody else finds it hard to photograph eyeshadows on hooded eyelids? This is probably my best shot after countless attempts!
