Sensé Daytime Protective Emulsion With Sunscreen

(Last Updated On: November 23, 2018)

Winter’s over and spring has sprung, the sun is out and I can’t tell you how absolutely delighted I am. I’m one of those who seem to turn into a grouchy, depressed  person who needs to hibernate under the blankets during winter. With spring upon us now, it’s as though I have come alive. #notexaggerating #askthehusband… and kids.

My favourite moisturisers for sunny weather would have to lightweight, non-oily and ideally include sun protection because I’m really lazy with sunscreen. I got to try the Sensé Daytime Protective Emulsion with Sunscreen, part of the Sensé skin care range developed by USANA Health Sciences. If you’re new to Sensé like me, their range of products are free of chemical preservatives as they focus on using new technologies and pure plant extracts.

sense daytime protective emulsion with sunscreen review

This daytime emulsion helps defend against UV rays with high-performance Regenisomes™ which also help to revitalise sun damaged skin. Dermal Surface Renewal Technology is an exclusive scientific breakthrough for Sensé that helps to reduce signs of ageing while slowing down the appearance of wrinkles and lines. This helps to give a more youthful appearance. Other beneficial plant extracts used include Aloe to deliver moisture, plankton to revitalise and protect, coneflower for firming purposes, irish moss to soften the skin and green tea extract to deliver essential nutrients.

Overall, this is a very enjoyable emulsion. It is lightly scented which doesn’t bother me but warrants a mention. I find that I only need the tiniest amount to spread it all over my face which is a good thing, given the higher price point. This product won’t fit everyone’s budget but if you’re after a lightweight emulsion that also includes sun protection and has the added bonus of being chemical free, this would be a good one to try.

Retails for $48.40 (25ml). Visit for more stockist details.
